“Tony, there’s a "not everything is lost" feeling in your music. Your music is so delicate...it’s like porcelain, fragile and full of evoking textures. But it’s not pessimistic, which I like so much! Other faves include "She Only Has to Smile" which reminds me of some of Richard Thompson's best work, "Graveyard Stare" with its chimey, mandolinesque guitar work, the synth horn ostinatos of "Bruised-Sky Denial", and the beautiful "Naked Failure" with it's haunting bridge. The first few listens on "Going Through Changes" had me thinking. "what the heck was he thinking." but everytime it plays I end up hitting the repeat button and catching myself singing the chorus.
